Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. Who we are

Mandate is provided by Fortuna Pace Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15496207), Strawberry Fields Digital Hub, Euxton Lane, Chorley, Lancashire PR7 1PS, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). These terms apply to your use of Mandate at mandate.fortunapace.com.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Mandate you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you register ("your organisation"). If you don't have authority to bind your organisation, don't create an account. Mandate is for businesses, not consumers.

3. What Mandate does

Mandate is a register for the AI agents your organisation uses. It records each agent's owner, role, limits and evidence, and shows how ready each one is. Readiness levels, checks and reports are guidance to help you manage your agents. They are not legal, regulatory, insurance or security advice, and they don't certify that any agent is safe or compliant. You stay responsible for the agents you run and the decisions you make about them.

4. Your account

5. Plans and payment

The Free plan covers up to 5 agents at no charge. Paid plans, if you choose one, are billed as shown when you subscribe, and you can cancel at the end of any billing period. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of a paid plan you're on. We may change or withdraw the Free plan with reasonable notice.

6. Your data

You own the information you put into Mandate and anything Mandate collects for you, such as directory scans you connect ("your data"). You give us permission to host, process and display your data only to provide Mandate to you, keep it secure and support you. We handle personal data as your processor, as described in our privacy policy. When you connect Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, Mandate reads only what's needed to find AI agents and their owners, and you can disconnect at any time.

7. Partners

If you're a partner (such as a managed service provider) and you manage other organisations through Mandate, you confirm that each of those organisations has authorised you to do so. You're responsible for your relationship with them.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Mandate to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, store malware, probe or overload the service, get around usage limits or access data you aren't authorised to see. Don't resell Mandate except under a partner agreement with us. We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Mandate available and your data backed up, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll give you notice, and you can cancel.

10. Our intellectual property

Mandate, its software, design and content belong to Fortuna Pace Limited. You may use it under these terms while your account is active. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Apart from that:

12. Ending

You can close your account at any time. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break them. When an account ends, you can ask us for an export of your data within 30 days. After that we delete it, apart from backups, which expire within 30 days, and anything we must keep by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. For significant changes we'll tell account owners by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Mandate after that, the new terms apply.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
